Duck Pond Field
Building Description
Duck Pond Field is an open field sitting in front of Trivette Dining Hall. It sits among the center of activity for all west campus dormitories. Adjacent to Duck Pond Field are the Stadium Parking Lot on one side and Stadium Drive on the other. Most of the Field is used for sitting, lounging, eating, or various outdoor sporting activities
History
During home football games spots on Duck Pond Field are rented to fraternities, sororities, and other social organizations. A spot can be rented by filling out the appropriate reservation form in the student union, though spots are based on a first-come, first-served basis. This is a very popular location for cookouts and tailgating before home football games
