Sands Classroom Building
Building Description
In addition to being one of the West campus' two primary classroom building, Sands houses the Information Systems Management (ISM) Lab - and a snack shop (called the Sand Trap) off the southeast corner of the courtyard. The ASU 1:1 Technology Studio is located inside, with technicians on hand to offer technical support. A rectangular pool with water fountains highlights Sands' west courtyard.
History
The Sands Classroom Building was named in 1989 in honor of the Louis "Buzz" Sands, IV family of Sands Chevrolet for a $1 million gift which established the Sands Chevrolet Scholarship Endowment.
