Sun Devil Stadium
Building Description
Sun Devil Stadium is home of the multiple Pac-10 champion ASU football team. The stadium holds 75,000 people and has also hosted the Fiesta Bowl, Insight Bowl and the NFL Super Bowl.
History
The stadium was built in 1958. Constructed between two mountain buttes, it was literally carved into the desert. It has been expanded and renovated four times, most recently in 1992.
