Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities

Building Description

The Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities celebrates the arts and the humanities at Case through public lectures, panels, performances, and special programs. It also supports research and creative work in the humanities and arts through fellowships, grants, and symposia, as well as encouraging new and innovative directions in research and creativity, including the digital humanities, through public forums and open discussion. It is located in room 206 of the main floor of Clark Hall.

History

The Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities was established in 1996 with a generous gift of endowment from Eric and Jane Nord.
