Building Description

Berry Hall is a newly renovated 6 story building that houses 636 female students. Berry Hall features numerous community spaces including the 1st floor Activity Center with activity rooms, home theatres, offices and a central lounge. Laundry rooms are located on each floor. Each upper floor after the first contains north and south residential villages connected by a central “Town Center” that includes a group kitchen, TV lounge, laundry facility and study room. The third floor has a computer lab in place of a study area. To ensure resident safety, this building contains a multi-zone fire alarm system, fire sprinkler system, and digital security camera system and 24-hour information/security desk.

Berry Hall was originally built in 1988 and renovated in 2003. It is named after Joe E Berry, Jr.

Each suite includes 2-3 bedrooms, 1-2 bathrooms, and 1 living area with a kitchenette. The suite is designed for 4-6 students and is very similar to those found in the McAlister Residence Hall.
