Pros: Great drinking atmosphere

Review: The joyce is definitely a good place to go grab a drink - it may not be the best place to grab a burger though.

While the food is good, better than most places in Durham - this is not my typical place to dine. It isn't a sports bar, so you won't find the game on TV and it isn't a nice restaurant, so forget about arm room or space. Instead, you'll find a dark pub that feels damp and is much preferred after 5-10 beers.

I'd recommend staying away from eating at the joyce and instead come there when you want a nice Irish Car Bomb.
