Building Description

Hall Building (sometimes referred to as Hall Hall) is home to three stories of classrooms and faculty offices. Hall is now home to many humanities and foreign language professors and their classes. Hall is located west of Ryan Gym and south of Magill Library.

History

Hall was constructed in 1912 as a chemistry building and named after Lyman Beecher Hall, who was a professor of chemistry at Haverford, from 1880 until 1917 and almost single-handedly built up the chemistry department.
