Alexander Dining Hall

Building Description

The Alexander Dining Hall, located behind Crawson Hall, features a wide range of popular dining options. Students can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style dining at the Alexander Dining Hall or grab some quick “on-the-go” a-la carte items at the Greystone, also located in the Alexander Dining Hall. Alexander Dining Hall is home to the largest vegetarian and vegan options on campus.

History

Alexander Dining Hall was completed in 1962. The dining hall was financed largely by alumna, Bess Mason Alexander, after whom the building was consequently named.

Alexander Dining Hall features buffet-style dining during operating meal hours, as well as the Greystone Deli. The Dining Hall features numerous restaurant options, including Miami Traditions, Hot Subs, Pastato, Pizza Pi, Sonora Stop, Spice of Life and Vine Dining. Greystone Deli, also located in Alexander Dining Hall, features a-la carte dining options including the Bell Tower Coffee Company, Miami Twister, Uncle Phil’s Deli, Uncle Phil’s Express and Nature’s Nook.
