October 15, 2008 Durham, NC - Today, Campus Destinations, Inc. announced the re-launch of their website, campusdestinations.com. The website was re-designed to incorporate a more "web 2.0 feel," and provides users with expanded content and applications to further assist them in their daily tasks. The re-launch of the website signifies Campus Destinations' commitment to providing the easiest interface for students and campus communities across the country.
The majority of the re-design work was undertaken by Owen Wendland, Chief Technology Officer, with the help of Arup Banerjee, Chief Executive Officer. "The new design incorporates all the key features of our earlier site," said Wendland. "It then takes things one step further, making the site easier to use, while providing increased functionality and an improved aesthetic layout."
The re-designed website will be available to all current campuses where Campus Destinations has a presence, as well as all schools where Campus Destinations will expand operations in the future. Several new features, including the Textbooks tab, are integrated into the design to optimize the user experience.
The new Campus Destinations website will also have the flexibility to incorporate new features as they are developed. The Campus Destinations software team is currently in development of several applications that will further enhance the usability of the site.
