History

The Walter Royal Davis Library was constructed in the late 20th century, yet even today, the building is one of the most recognized and useful libraries in the country. It is a major research site for the humanities and social sciences and is easily the largest and most popular library for students on campus. The building underwent a major renovation in 2006, completely revamping its restroom services and internet connection. New Dell computers were added to the first floor as well. In fact, Davis continues to grow each year, constantly looking to improve its services, such as technological advancement, to Carolina students and professors.
