Luter Residence Hall
Building Description
Luter residence hall houses 290 co-ed students , mostly freshmen. The basement is home to Chi Psi fraternity and Delta Zeta sorority. The rooms are suite style, 2 dorm rooms – each housing 2 students – connected by a bathroom. Each basement room has a door leading to the hallway, as well as directly outside. A courtyard, often used for cook outs and other social gatherings, lies in the middle. A deck on the top floor provides an ideal place for studying and relaxing during warm weather. The main Luter lounge is extends from the 1st floor to the basement and houses a ping pong table and large screen television. Each floor includes a small study lounge. A large kitchen extends off the main lounge and both basement halls include a small kitchen with an oven, stove, sink, and mini refrigerator. There is an ice machine in the basement, as well as a laundry room. Luter houses 2 elevators, 1 on each side of the building. Each room has individual heating and air conditioning controls, as well as a sink.
